Fresh and organic ingredients
Chef Philipp Lindner is responsible for the restaurant and prepares the dishes with fresh ingredients harvested on the same day. He serves the food in a down-to-earth and cosy manner in the beautifully restored surroundings of an old barn, where you can see the animals grazing in the fields, the atmospheric courtyard, and the flower garden.
Philipp Lindner pays great attention to the freshness and quality of the ingredients. His culinary heart beats passionately for the close collaboration between the vegetable garden, nature, and the kitchen, and all the unique possibilities it creates to prepare many amazing and truly distinctive meals for you.
Philipp is originally from Germany, where he was trained. After several years as a chef in fine dining in Germany and Switzerland, he chose to take his culinary career to Denmark, where he has worked in some inspiring kitchens, including Restaurant Jordnær in Gentofte and as head chef at La Banchina in Copenhagen.
What is Mangholm?
Mangholm is uniquely located in the middle of the Royal North Zealand National Park between Gribskov and Arresø, which are some of the largest natural areas in Sealand. Here, Mangholm forms an essential green corridor where nature and wildlife can freely move as the farm's fields connect the two landscapes.
Mangholm is a family-owned, 100% organic, and self-owned farm run by Tine, who has worked for ten years with diverse, regenerative farming, animal husbandry, nature conservation, and biodiversity, and is passionate about communicating about nature, food, quality, and preservation of the living cultural heritage in which she and her family actively participate.
