Round the Isefjord with 4-Ferries

Put on your hiking shoes and jump on your bike to explore the best of the fjord landscape. Take the trip with the four ferries and follow the approximately 100 kilometres long path around Isefjorden. Buy a total ticket for the four ferries and enjoy the journey at your pace – the right pace – over a day or more while enjoying the fjord seen from both the land and from the sea. The trip can also be experienced by car or motorcycle. You choose for yourself.

Going around Isefjorden with four ferries is a fantastic way to experience the beautiful nature and cosy towns along the coast. One of the most popular routes starts in Halsnæs, specifically in Lynæs and Hundested.

The experiences await you in Hundested and Lynæs

Lynæs is a small, idyllic harbour town located on the tip of a peninsula on the north coast of Sealand. It is a popular spot for surfers and other water sports enthusiasts, as it is known for its good wind and wave conditions. Visit Lynæs Surfcenter, where you can windsurf or enjoy some good food at Lynæs Madbar, where the view of the fjord does not disappoint.

In Hundested, a lively harbour town with a rich maritime history, you can explore the harbour, see the beautiful sand sculptures at the Hundested Sandskulptur Festival and enjoy a delicious dinner at one of the many restaurants. Hundested is also known for its artistic community, and you can visit some of the town's many galleries, the glass-blower and working art studios. Or visit the museum of the polar explorer Knud Rasmussen.

Ticket sales

• You should buy your ticket directly on one of the ferries.
• A reservation is not required. We recommend making a reservation during the peak season for the Hundested-Rørvig ferry if you bring a car.
• A ticket for the 4- Ferries provides you with only one trip on each ferry, but the ticket does not need to be used in one day; you can divide it over multiple days. Tickets for the 4-Ferries are valid from 1/4-30/9, 2023.
