Midsummer Boat Trip on Arresø with M/S Frederikke
Midsummer should be celebrated in a truly special way. Experience pristine and exceptionally beautiful nature – watch the many Sankt Hans bonfires being lit from the water. On Sankt Hans Evening, you can join a boat trip with the excursion boat M/S Frederikke on Denmark’s largest lake, Arresø.
This year, the most beautiful midsummer evening will be celebrated in collaboration with Auderød Naturhavn.
As per tradition, you can sail with M/S Frederikke to the bonfire, which will be lit this year at 9:30 PM in Auderød Naturhavn.
In Auderød Naturhavn, a traditional Sankt Hans evening has been organised with other partners, where sausages and beer will be sold. The evening is announced in such a way that you can either join the boat trip or drive to Auderød Naturhavn.
Time and Date:
Midsummer Evening, 23rd June, 7:30 PM–10:30 PM | Adults DKK 150 and children DKK 45, excluding fee | Purchase tickets for the trip.
Practical information for the trip:
For large groups of children, you are required to bring your life jackets.
Swimming:
Swimming in Arresø is not permitted due to water quality. However, the area offers many other lovely views and nature experiences.
Directions:
If you are coming from the north to Arresødal and M/S Frederikke, your GPS might direct you via the road from the Vinderød side. This road is blocked by a barrier. Therefore, continue towards Frederiksværk and Hillerød to the large roundabout by McDonald’s with the blue gate. Go all the way around the roundabout and take the same road back as you came. About 400 metres ahead on the right, there is a sign for the excursion boat Frederikke.
