Lynæs Surfcenter: Nature-inspired meeting facilities by the sea

The sea lies like a large playground in the backyard, and so does the beach, so there are plenty of opportunities to spice up the day with activities on land and water or an overnight stay with a view of the blue waves!

The rooms

Meetings at Lynæs typically take place at Lynæs Madbar where small and large meetings/conferences for 10-120 people are accommodated.

Here, you'll find all the equipment; presentation screen, speaker system, and whiteboards. The style of the Madbar is in line with the Strandbar, where you'll be greeted by colours, bohemian lamps, and of course, the view of Lynæs Harbour speaks for itself!

The large room has a lounge area where you can take a break and warm up by the fireplace on colder days. The smaller room is adjacent to the bar and is suitable for a standing meeting/reception. Both rooms have access to the terrace, so you can get some fresh air between the professional sessions.

A perfect way to end a meeting day is under the canopy at the beach bar, where you can enjoy a cold brew or a colourful cocktail. In the spring of 2024, a new space will be introduced, an orangery on the terrace - perfect for smaller groups of up to 12 people.

Accommodation

If you wish to stay overnight, a different night is offered in the Glamping area where there are; 12 units in total - a maximum of 50 people.

The distribution of rooms is as follows:

• 5 surf shacks - up to 3 people
• 3 Tenthouse Standard - up to 4 people
• 3 Tenthouse Supreme - up to 6 people
• 1 Apartment - up to 5 people
• If you prefer real hotel rooms, this can be arranged at a reasonable distance (28).

Catering

Lynæs Surfcenter always ensures full catering for your meeting, and if you want to party afterwards, this is also possible. Great emphasis is placed on homemade pastries, and the lunch buffet is filled with local ingredients and fresh greens.

The special

The staff makes an extra effort to provide a unique experience, with down-to-earth hospitality, good stories from the area, and the opportunity to be part of the small community for a day or two. You get up close to the small family business and get a taste of the old fishing village, which today shares the sea with many passionate surfers, including the owners of the place.

Use the surroundings

In Lynæs, you are surrounded by water and green areas, ideal for a walk! Lynæs Surfcenter offers team activities on land, but if you prefer more excitement, you can hop on the water with one of the site's surf instructors and try your hand at windsurfing, SUP, or kayaking. End the day with dinner at the restaurant, a sauna session, or a cosy evening by the fire.
