The town of Frederiksværk was founded in the mid-1700s, quickly growing into an important military production site. A remarkable part of the exhibition highlights the Copper Rolling Mill, which supplied copper for ships and coin production, later joined by the Danish Steel Rolling Mill, which remains a vital part of the town's industry.
