It lies in the way we fill our framework. Kokkedal Castle Copenhagen is country life, and laid-back charm, its enjoyment and pampering, its intimacy and attention - and the staff are passionate about passing on its passion for the good.

The castle is located in the beautiful North Sealand nature, surrounded by a golf course and views of the Sound.

The seven stylish meeting rooms offer beautiful natural light with space for between 4 and 112 participants, where the main hall has its balcony overlooking the golf course—all fully equipped with modern audio equipment, free internet access and parking. In addition, we offer a wide range of team activities and events for small and large groups.

Accommodation takes place in one of the castle's 59 bright and elegant rooms, divided into several categories and decorated with materials inspired by the colours of nature. All rooms are comfortably furnished with a bathroom in rustic castle style.

Restaurant Slotskælderen from 1746, with original vaults and candles, forms an atmospheric setting while the serving takes place with the warmth of heart and emphasis on good hospitality. In summer, the covered terrace overlooks the park, and the coast opens.

The impressive Table Hall, with room for 88 guests, forms the setting for company parties, dinners and unique events. At the same time, Kokkedal Spa is a true oasis for well-being and relaxation, with an indoor pool, sauna, steam bath and treatment room.

The castle is a member of the recognised worldwide association "Small Luxury Hotels of the World". With a location just minutes from the Helsingør motorway, the Coastal Railway and Strandvejen, the Castle is ideal for guests all over the country and abroad. 

Kokkedal Castle Copenhagen was built in 1746 as a pleasure property by Christian August, Count von Berckentin.

It is tucked away as a small oasis in a green area with a park, forest and beach in scenic North Sealand. Close to the city and discreetly located all by itself, with a view of the Sound, look to Hven and next door to Kokkedal Golf Club.
Here you are far out in the country - even though the centre of Copenhagen is only half an hour away.

Upon arrival, our meeting host is ready to welcome and service you. If you need activities, we offer many options, primarily in beautiful nature, regardless of the season. We offer a limited number of free loans of bicycles, electric bicycles and Me-Movers, while marked routes through forest and beach allow for "walk & talk".

Should your event be something exceptional, the castle can be rented exclusively. We close it all off just for you, and you can freely use the castle's 59 stylish rooms, atmospheric bar and lounge, beautiful function room, cosy restaurant and covered terrace in summer, as well as the luxurious spa area with an indoor pool.

The castle is a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World and, in 2016, received the award as Spa of the Year through the Danish Beauty Award.
