Torup Christmas Market - Traditional Crafts and Cosy Christmas Spirit in Torup

The Torup Christmas Market is known for its unique blend of craftsmanship, local cosiness, and tradition. The market takes place at Dyssekildegård, where you can buy handmade Christmas gifts and enjoy delicious local specialities.

Handmade Crafts and Unique Christmas Gifts

At the Torup Christmas Market, tradition and creativity come together. Exhibitors offer a wide range of jewellery, ceramics, glass, clothing, and exclusive upcycled items. Whether you're looking for something special for your Christmas tree or a unique gift for a friend, you'll find it here.

Culinary Delights

In addition to crafts, you can also enjoy edible specialities such as homemade Christmas cookies, chutney, jam, and cold-smoked salmon. The market also features local products like sea buckthorn juice.

Café and Children's Activities

The market's café is run by students from Halsnæs Lilleskole’s 7th grade. You can buy vegetarian soups and fresh sandwiches, and all proceeds go toward the students' language trip. The children are also hosting a flea market with fun items, where the little ones can find great bargains.

Practical Information

It is recommended to bring cash for both the market and the café. Torup Bogby will be open both days and just across the street, you'll find the organic village, where local shops like Taraxacum and Torup Spisehus will also be open during the Christmas market.
