Halloween at North Zealand Vintage Train

Get ready to get chills when the ghost train and Græsted Station open for a "spooky" day and evening on Saturday, October 26th.

Take a Ride with the Ghost Train

The Ghost Veteran Train runs a Halloween tour between Græsted and Gilleleje, and the station is filled with trolls, witches, ghosts, and spooky skeletons.

The old diesel locomotive is hitched to the carriages, and off it goes into the evening and night darkness. Enjoy the ride through the dark in the dimly lit compartments, but be careful – some truly eerie guests might board along the way.

The first trip on the veteran train is at 2:52 PM, and after that, the train runs every hour until 6:52 PM. Tickets can be purchased at the station before boarding the ghost train. The journey takes 30 minutes.

Dress warmly, as the train is not heated. Guests are also welcome to disembark at the old station. The station will be open for the occasion, and as a special feature, you can venture down into the basement under the station – if you dare – and hear stories about the strange creatures hiding in the darkness.
